The owner / manager of the restaurant is Ms. Par Jit-u-rai.   Par grew up in a restaurant environment in Bangkok, Thailand.  Par obtained her Bachelor of Arts, in Business Administration, from the University of Bradford, in the United Kingdom in 2000.Par moved to Ottawa with her family in September 2001.   After working in various Thai restaurants in the Ottawa area for a few years, she then took the opportunity to open her own restaurant when a space became available in the Byward Market.  Par was responsible for the design of  the  interior of the  restaurant,  the  menu,  as  well  as  overseeing the construction  of  the  restaurant,  ( see construction photos ).   Par  is also responsible  for  the  organization  of  all  the  cultural events   held at the restaurant.  You may even see her performing in many Thai cultural shows held in Ottawa and Toronto.
