Khao Thai Tsunami Relief Event:

I wish to thank all who attended this special event to aid victims of the Tsunami in Thailand.  Your participation in this event will be greatly appreciated by those we are going to help.  I was deeply touched by your response to our special event.

Thank you again

Par Jit-u-rai

Owner / Khao Thai Restaurant.

Anyone who has watched the news and has seen pictures of the Tsunami Disaster of December 26th, could not help but be moved with the devastation and loss of life which has occurred in Thailand, Sri lanka and Indonesia.

Families, Friends, whole villages, were lost to the destructive damage of the Tsunami.  Like many, we at the Khao Thai were moved by the efforts of the world to help those effected by this disaster.  So on January 23rd, 2005 we held a Thai Cooking Class at our restaurant.  All the proceeds will be sent to aid those in need in effected areas in Thailand.

We had an excellent turn-out for this Special aid event, even though it was put together on such short notice.  I want to thank Ms. Nitaya Suwanachit, Ms. Ammuayporn and Ms. Souwaluck Lordngein for their help in the success of this event.
